Streaming Video: Avon

Academic Video Online (AVON) contains more than 62,000 video titles covering anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music and more. Avon includes a variety of video material available with curricular relevance: documentaries, interviews, feature films, performances, news programs and newsreels, demonstrations, and raw footage. Patrons will find thousands of award-winning films, including Academy®, Emmy®, and Peabody® winners. Academic institutions will find the most frequently used films for classroom instruction, plus newly released films and previously unavailable archival material.

• How do I request a film?  - You do nothing! Since the library has full coverage to all films in this database, you have immediate access to these films.
• Public Performance Rights – “Films available in AVON include limited public performance rights, which include permission for classroom showings, as well as public screenings, as long as no admission is being charged.*”
