MLA citation style is a method of attribution that was created by the Modern Language Association. It is currently on its 9th edition but most institutions are still using 8th. This LibGuide will review the last edition (8th). MLA citation style includes both in-text citations and a Works Cited list for attribution. The Modern Language Association offers assistance through the MLA Style Center.
