General Information about Textbooks

The textbooks listed below have been identified by module co-directors as recommended resources for the Language of Medicine module.

Electronic copies of textbooks: Many textbooks are available online via the library's ebook databases, and direct links to the ebooks are provided when available.  

Print copies of textbooks: Recommended textbooks may not be available online.  A limited number of print copies are available in the library.  Call numbers are listed for any textbooks that are available in print. Print-only titles are linked to their record in the library catalog where you can check availability at campus library locations in Edinburg, Harlingen, and Brownsville.

Do I need to purchase personal copies of textbooks?
Medical students are encouraged to secure individual copies of core textbooks in the format of their choice (print or electronic)
